10 Must Install Free Softwares In Your Computer
When you buy a new computer or reinstall the operating system in your computer, you need to install certain software in it. These are either useful for good performance of your computer or for various uses. An operating system doesn’t have all the software necessary for our working. An operating system just offers a few basic software like a simple CD writer, media player, etc. Well these software are very simple and hardly are they advanced. I mean they come with very simple functions. So in order to work the more advanced way, one needs to install a few external software. Some of the softwares I recommend for a new computer are,
1.) CCleaner – Used to cleanup junk files (Browser cookies, cache, Windows error reporting files, etc) from your computer.
2.) CDBurnerXP – This software is like Nero which offers you to burn CDs / DVDs. It has a simple interface than Nero and is more easy to use according to my experience.
3.) VLC Media Player – Windows Media Player and the default players coming with our operating system have features to play only certain file formats. To play others we need to install various codecs. A better way is to install VLC Media player and enjoy. It ahs a wide file playing capacity and is also free!
4.) Adobe Reader – Adobe Reader is used to read .PDF files. PDF mostly contain important documents and many be books, etc. To read them one can use Adobe Reader.
5.) Open Office – It’s a software like MS. Office with the only difference that Open Office is open source and is available for free. It offers all tools which are in MS. Office.
6.) Mozilla Firefox – This software doesn’t need any introduction. This is the best internet browser according to me and many more people. So install this software if you’re an internet user.
7.) IZarc - Izarc is the best freeware archive utility supporting many archive formats like; 7-ZIP, A, ACE, ARC, ARJ, B64, BH, BIN, BZ2, BZA, C2D, CAB, CDI, CPIO, DEB, ENC, GCA, GZ, GZA, HA, IMG, ISO, JAR, LHA, LIB, LZH, MDF, MBF, MIM, NRG, PAK, PDI, PK3, RAR, RPM, TAR, TAZ, TBZ, TGZ, TZ, UUE, WAR, XXE, YZ1, Z, ZIP, ZOO. IZarc is used to compress and decompress files.
8.) Free Download Manager – This is a completely free download manager. Its like Internet Download Manager or Download Accelerator Plus, but this comes for free without any price! Try using this! This is a good software.
9.) BitTorrent – Well if you use torrents or download using torrents, then BitTorrent is a software for you. Remember, using BitTorrent is legal, but downloading illegal or leaked files using torrents is illegal. So use BitTorrent only for good purposes and for legal purposes.
10.) FlyingBit Password Keeper – This tool is used to store passwords. It’s the best one I’ve seen. It offers a simple interface and the stored passwords are highly secured.
Well I love the above ten softwares. Do you know any other softwares which are free and you love to use? If yes please let us know through comments!
